- A package is considered a “Large Package” when its length plus girth (2xwidth) + (2xheight) combined exceeds 130 inches, but does not exceed the maximum UPS size of 165 inches.
- A package with the longest side exceeding 60 inches or its second-longest side exceeding 30 inches.
DIM WEIGHT – Also known as Dimensional weight. Freight carriers utilize the greater of the actual weight or dimensional weight to calculate shipping charges. Dimensional Weight is calculated as (Length x Width x Height) / (Dimensional Factor).
